A gift of cash is a very direct and effective way—and the most common—to support Wisconsin Community Fund.  Checks made out to Wisconsin Community Fund may be deducted from your income tax in the year the gift is made.

In addition to checks, the Fund accepts MasterCard and VISA; just click the donate button above.

If you wish to donate to Wisconsin Community Fund on a more regular basis, please consider the Partners in Change Program:

You determine the right amount and frequency of your pledge.   If you would like to have your credit card charged monthly or quarterly, you can click the DONATE button above to become a Partner in Change.

Additionally, Electronic Fund Transfer is possible for monthly or quarterly pledges.   To set up your automatic fund transfer, please contact Cindy at the Fund: 608-251-6834 or cindy@wcfund.org.

Appreciated Securities - Gifts of stocks or bonds that have appreciated can provide significant benefits for you as donor, as well as the social justice movement we champion.   With a gift of stock you may deduct the fair market value of appreciated securities and avoid a capital gains tax.

Real Estate - A gift of real estate can be a very beneficial contribution for both the donor and the recipient charity.  You may contribute a personal residence or a vacation home and retain the right to live in it for your lifetime.  A gift of real estate can generate a charitable deduction equal to the fair market value or "remainder interest" and relieve you of property tax management and maintenance costs.  In addition, you can avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation of the property, as well as possible estate taxes.    Because land and properties are so variable, the Fund reserves the right to accept or reject real estate donations.

If you have questions or would like more information about any of these giving options, please contact Cindy Fesemyer at the Fund.
